Lorenzo Pineda
Performance Coach
Hailing from Vanuatu, Lorenzo was awarded a tennis scholarship at the ITF Oceania Regional Training Centre in Fiji and travelled the world competing in junior tennis tournaments for five years. Following this he received a tennis scholarship in the USA, to play college tennis.
Highlights from his career include, representing Vanuatu in various Oceania tennis tournaments and to have been part of the national team that won a gold medal at the 2017 South Pacific Games.
Following college, Lorenzo coaches for nearly a decade in Japan. Lorenzo has been in Australia for the past 2 years.
As a coach, he emphasises the importance of having fun and enjoying the game. He believes that when players are relaxed and enthusiastic, they perform at their best.
